So, what is a certified service dog?
A certified service dog possesses credentials that verify he or she completed service support training. In addition to being well-behaved, a certified service dog is granted access to public and private settings everywhere and is capable of demonstrating impeccable self-control and focus.
Certified service dogs can be trained in specialized areas of support, including mental support, physical assistance, and medical alert responses.
NOTE: Our service animal program does not offer medical alert service dog training at this time.

This program supports individuals who have challenges with independent mobility. Those in wheelchairs or who need help opening doors or picking up things benefit from service dogs with mobility certification. (NOTE: Mobility assistance dogs must be 50% of the handler’s weight and 40% of their height.)
- Psychiatric Service Dog Certification
This program supports individuals who face struggles with mental health symptoms associated with anxiety, PTSD, or depression. Service dogs trained in mental health support can provide calming assistance in various settings that may be challenging for these individuals.
